Tessa Stamile, 2nd year medical student at the University of Oklahoma, is thankful for the educational opportunities the Chickasaw Nation provides. She is pursuing her dream to become a doctor thanks to the scholarships and grants made available to her. After she completes her residency she plans on working in a Native American clinic so she can give back to the community. She is also inspired to help educate and treat patients who are at risk or diagnosed with Diabetes.
