Meet Our People – The Enduring Spirit of the Chickasaw NationTessa Stamile, 2nd year medical student at the University of Oklahoma, is thankful for the educational opportunities the Chickasaw Nation provides. She is pursuing her dream to become a doctor thanks to the scholarships and grants made available to her. After she completes her residency she plans on working in a Native American clinic so she can give back to the community. She is also inspired to help educate and treat patients who are at risk or diagnosed with Diabetes.
