Dr. Don Gardner's goal since childhood was to have a farm of his own. After graduating from OSU, he began his veterinary career raising heifers on a small dairy farm. Today, he’s accomplished his goal and cares for 800 heifers with the help of his two sons. "I like challenges, I like new things ... that's what makes life interesting," Don says.
Don is not only a successful veterinarian and dairy farmer, but also a proud Chickasaw. "I'm proud to be a Chickasaw ... it's been a motivator for me to look back on the past, see what's happening in the present and hopefully what'll happen in the future, too."
