Meet Our People – The Enduring Spirit of the Chickasaw NationBefore leading the Chickasaw Nation as Governor, Chris Anoatubby served as the Under Secretary of Tribal and Commercial Health. Medicine runs deep through his lineage, as Chris' great-great grandfather was a healer for the Chickasaw tribe and he feels a spiritual connection to his chosen profession. Helping others is not only a part of his job, but is something he hopes to instill in his children.
