Peyton "Beans" Factor

Meet Our People – The Enduring Spirit of the Chickasaw Nation

Peyton Factor, or "Beans" as she's affectionately called, is a 3x Class 3A Oklahoma Girls Golf Individual State Champion taking the sport by storm. After picking up a golf club at the age of three, she was playing competitively by the age of six and now strives to be one of the first American Indians in the LPGA. "It takes a lot of practice," she says. "It takes you losing and realizing it's not the end of the world." Although Peyton plays against the best girls around the world, that doesn't intimidate her. In fact, she says it helps her game get better. For her, golf is the greatest game ever because it teaches life lessons and how to overcome new challenges.

Now she's picked up a new sponsor in Saucy Spoon Baked Beans and on her way to new opportunities playing Division 1 collegiate golf on scholarship for the Jaspers at Manhattan University in New York City. Watch her in Profiles of a Nation to see where her story began.
