Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) was granted a Federal Charter by the Department of the Interior in 1996. Then, in 2001, CNI received its first contract from the U.S. Army. Since then, the company has continued to grow and expand with over a dozen subsidiaries in multiple lines of businesses and over 1,700 employees nationwide. CNI is now one of the Top 100 Federal Contractors in the country according to Washington Technologies and the largest tribally owned Indian contractor in the lower 48. CNI has employees in 38 states with plans to continue to expand their private sector presence.
