Growing into over a dozen subsidiaries in multiple lines of businesses since its inception

Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) was granted a Federal Charter by the Department of the Interior in 1996. Then, in 2001, CNI received its first contract from the U.S. Army. Since then, the company has continued to grow and expand with over a dozen subsidiaries in multiple lines of businesses and over 1,700 employees nationwide. Some historical highlights:

  • 2001: First contract from the U.S. Army
  • 2003: Acquired Datacom and opened field offices in Albuquerque and Atlanta
  • 2004: Took over a metal production manufacturing plant in Marietta, OK
  • 2007: Moved CNI headquarters to Norman
  • 2009: Field offices were opened in Sierra Vista, AZ
  • 2010: New field office opened in Rockville, MD
  • 2012: Acquired a government contracting company in Arlington, VA and a midstream energy company, Bullet Energy Services, in Oklahoma
  • 2013: Expanding the Marietta plant to build and repair oil field equipment

CNI is now one of the Top 100 Federal Contractors in the country according to Washington Technologies and the largest tribally owned Indian contractor in the lower 48. CNI has employees in 38 states with plans to continue to expand their private sector presence.
