The Chickasaw Nation breathed new life into a local chocolatier with a decades-long history

Bedré Chocolates was purchased by the Nation in 2000 to diversify the Chickasaw commercial base, and its products are now sold at some of the finest and best known retail stores throughout the U.S.

In December 2012, the Chickasaws opened a new 35,000-square-foot retail and production facility, which offers tours and interactive displays for the public, plus an outdoor playground and dog park for I-35 travelers. The nation also has a retail location in Ada.

In 2013, the Nation introduced Champoli, blending traditional tribal flavors such as roasted corn with high-quality chocolate.
