There are three main bureaus within the Lighthorse Police: the Patrol Bureau, which includes patrol officers, canine unit, SWAT team and dive team; the Investigation Bureau, which is responsible for providing paper and warrant services, recovering and returning stolen property, and more; and the Dispatch Bureau, which answers and disseminates information received through callers and makes referrals to the appropriate authorities.
