Margaret Wheeler introduces the Raccoon Clan leader costume she designed for Lowak Shoppala’. She created woven “raccoon tails” on the headdress and later added real raccoon tails. Drawing on her imagination, she planned and hand-wove the fringed fabric used in the garments.
