Governor Bill Anoatubby delivered his State of the Nation address on October 5th, 2013, at Murray State College in Tishomingo. He shared the Chickasaw Nation’s path of progress and reported that the “Chickasaw Nation has never been in better shape.” The tribe has experienced advancements in commerce, services, tribal government and finances, enhancing quality of life on all fronts. “In the long history of the Chickasaw Nation, our people have been focused, resilient and determined,” said Governor Anoatubby. He celebrates the Renaissance of this great Indian Nation, which has risen to a level of significant influence.
