The Chickasaw White House in Milburn, Oklahoma was built in 1895 by Chickasaw Governor Douglas Johnston and was home to his family from 1898-1971. Now under the care of the Chickasaw Nation, it has been beautifully restored with all-original furniture and belongings from the early 1900s. The White House is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday (except on federal holidays) from 10am to 4pm. For more information about the house and its history or to schedule a tour, visit
