The opening of the largest tribal cultural center in the country

The Chickasaw Cultural Center opened in July 2010 as a place to celebrate, embrace and share the culture that binds the Chickasaw together. This 109-acre campus is the largest tribal cultural center in the country. It was selected as the Best Cultural Heritage Experience by the American Indian and Alaskan Native Tourism Association.

The Cultural Center features displays, interactive exhibits, a traditional tribal village, a 350-seat theater and honor garden, restaurants, gift shops and more. The Holisso Research Center has a collection of tribal archives and genealogical records.
