Linda's Inspiration to Write Poetry

Linda Hogan

As Linda began writing, she would sit on a tree stump and ponder choices of subject matter. Her first book was titled “Calling Myself Home” about growing up with her sister in Gene Autry, Oklahoma without plumbing or electricity, and a hot stove all summer, ever-ready with food for anyone who stopped at the house.
