Launch Of The Clemente Courses

Lisa Billy

Lisa Billy reflects on the enriching experience it was to have taken this course, available at East Central University and Murray State College. Organized by the Arts & Humanities Division, it studies Chickasaw in relation to other cultures, and includes a language component. They read Chickasaw authors, often had authors come to class, and found it even inspired class members’ families to learn and understand more.
