LaDonna Brown

After a summer job in 2000 as an interpretation park ranger at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, LaDonna Brown went to the University of Mississippi in Oxford. She graduated in December 2004 with a Master’s of Art in Anthropology with a special emphasis in Southeastern Archaeology (Chickasaw). She describes her ambition of bringing together being a trained archaeologist and being a Chickasaw, despite differences in ideas and belief system.
