2010 Creativity World Forum

Lowak Shoppala' tells the Chickasaw Story, having emerged from centuries of struggle to survive into the "light" of today's cultural renaissance. In this sequence, tribal clan leaders convene, revealing their individuality. Performed during the closing ceremonies at the 2010 Creativity World Forum, this production combines the poetry, music and costumes of three gifted Chickasaw artists: Linda Hogan, Jerod Tate and Margaret Roach Wheeler.
