An appreciation of the importance of her heritage and her ancestors

Sally Bell was born in 1926, and helped make history for the Chickasaw Nation. Bell understood the importance of her heritage and her ancestors. She was integral in using what she had learned from the past to help influence good for the future of the Chickasaw tribe. As one of the writers assisting in the formation of the present Chickasaw Nation constitution, Bell exemplified those beliefs. She passed away in 1989.
