Lisa loves to prepare frybread biscuits, pashofa, hogmeat in the big black kettle – although growing up, she spent more time with the livestock than in the kitchen. She relishes the opportunity to learn the Chickasaw words for foods and share that learning as a family. Importantly, her children have learned to cook.
