The Chickasaw Nation Storm Shelter Program

Chickasaw Nation Citizen Benefits

When severe weather hits, having a storm shelter can be a vital part of keeping your family safe. The Chickasaw Nation offers a storm shelter installation program to keep its citizens secure in these times of distress. The program is open to all Chickasaw citizens who own their own property, and an application is required. After going on a waiting list, the shelter will be provided once the funds are available. Shelters are awarded to families on a first come first serve basis, and each family may receive a shelter only once so that the needs of all Chickasaws are met.
