The Steven Agee Economic Research and Policy Institute at Oklahoma City University conducted a study to calculate the impact Oklahoma Native American tribes have on the state economy. Its findings show the Chickasaw Nation supports the Oklahoma economy by contributing $2.4 billion in goods and services, employing over 10,000 people in Oklahoma and supporting an additional 6,000 jobs.
