The Chickasaw Cultural Center recently played host to Film Forward, an initiative of the Sundance Institute that promotes dialogue and cross-cultural understanding through film screenings, workshops and panel discussions. Governor Bill Anoatubby believes this collaboration helps American Indians and other independent filmmakers tell stories from their unique cultural perspectives.
