Chickasaw photographer Branden Hart's new book showcases the scenes and landmarks of the Chickasaw Nation. From an early age Hart was interested in photography and began using his mother's camera at age 7. His most recent work has taken him on a journey to discover the rich culture of his tribe. His new book, "Chokma'si: The Beauty of the Chickasaw Nation," published by the Chickasaw Press, captures the beauty of Chickasaw artifacts, landscapes and historic landmarks in south-central Oklahoma. Hart says the book allowed him to become a better photographer, preserving Chickasaw culture for his son and his tribe. Hart's book is now available through The Chickasaw Press.
