Chickasaw artist Mike Larsen speaks about his experiences and inspiration as he captured the personalities of 48 elders portrayed in his paintings, featured in two publications-They Know Who They Are and Proud to be Chickasaw. The paintings are on display at the Chickasaw Cultural Center and copies of the books are available through The Chickasaw Press.
