The Chickasaw Council House Museum, located on the Capitol Square in Tishomingo, houses unique Chickasaw artifacts and photographs, including the first Council House built more than 150 years ago. Three gallery spaces hold objects pertinent to Chickasaw heritage and tradition, and tell our story from the very beginning — each item representing a specific time, place and/or person important to Chickasaw history.
