This marked the tenth year of existence for the Chickasaw Arts Academy, a special two-week camp for Chickasaw youth aged eight to eighteen who are interested in honing their artistic skills. The 2014 Academy saw record participation, with more than 180 students enrolled in 22 different classes such as acting, 3D art, fashion design and dance. The Chickasaw Arts Academy provides students an opportunity to create and collaborate with their like-minded peers.
