The Chickasaw Summer Arts Academy marks its ninth year. Developing artists spend two weeks learning and refining their skills. Some may be returning students, and others are participating for the first time. The Academy draws in professional teachers from Oklahoma and beyond. Oklahoma artist Brent Greenwood is eager to help these students develop their skills. Even Broadway dancer and choreographer David Pershica participates, knowing how important it is for these youth to be free in their artistic expression.
