The Chickasaw Nation robotics team is savoring a top 20 finish in this year's Oklahoma Regional FIRST Competition. Metal Mayhem was among 52 teams that designed and built robots and mini bots for the competition, with the help of adult mentors, such as retired engineer Jim Lawson. The kids, ages 14-18, learn more than science, technology and math. They also learn how to accomplish goals as a team while building self-confidence.
