Wendy St. Jean is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of History and Political Science at Purdue University Calumet and specializes in 18th and 19th-century Southeastern Native American tribes. Wendy says her favorite part of the Cultural Center was the Spirit Forest, where visitors can experience traditional stories and images. She also expresses how impressed she was with the authenticity of the replica Traditional Village.
