Oklahoma native bringing her award-winning journalism to the Chickasaw Nation

Quin Tran is the co-host of the monthly series Chikasha Poya and a 25-year veteran of the media and communications industry. Quin began her career in television news as a reporter and anchor, but now owns her own media business, freelancing and consulting on documentaries, web-based news and programming, communications planning and other creative projects.

From 2010-2026, Quin was also the co-host of the bimonthly video news magazine, CNTV News. On the 1st and 15th of each month, Quin presented compelling stories focused on recent accomplishments, progress and events shaping the Chickasaw story into the future alongside co-host Brad Clonch.

She is a native of Yukon, OK, and obtained her degree in broadcasting with a minor in political science from the University of Central Oklahoma. Quin has received numerous other awards, including an Emmy nomination in 1995 for "American Dreams," a story she produced that detailed her family's journey from Vietnam to Oklahoma.
