Chickasaw Nation News

In this episode of CNTV News, Brad Clonch and Quin Tran take us to Sulphur to learn about two new educational facilities focused on young Chickasaws. The Chickasaw Nation broke ground on a new Head Start building and a Chickasaw Youth Club building, both in Sulphur. And don't forget about summer camps and classes for kids! For more information, visit Chickasaw.net. Next, we meet Gabe Cannon, a Chickasaw citizen who says that teaching people to live healthier is his passion. Gabe, a registered licensed dietician, draws inspiration from his father, Skip Cannon, who died from diabetes when Gabe was in his early 20s. With his love for his father in his heart, Gabe now focuses on nutrition and disease prevention in the elderly and in children. Another inspiring Chickasaw citizen, Triana Browne-Hearrell, was crowned Miss Oklahoma 2017 last month. Congrats, Triana!
