To begin this episode of CNTV News, Brad and Quin sit down with Chickasaw art student and illustrator Lauren John to discuss her work on The Migration Story of the Chickasaw and Choctaw People, which is available for purchase now at ChickasawPress.com. "It's such an important story to our tribe that I really wanted to do it justice," Lauren says. She shares her illustration process and how Chickasaw Nation art programs have guided her throughout her artistic journey. Lauren is now in her final year studying animation at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) and is excited about what the future holds for her budding career in the arts.

Last month, the Chickasaw Cultural Center hosted another successful Three Sisters Celebration. The annual event featured traditional food tastings, planting demonstrations and a variety of games and activities.
