This time on CNTV News, Brad and Quin report from the Chickasaw Cultural Center to preview the latest featured exhibit. Chickasaw artist Mike Larsen begins with a blank canvas, but sketches and shadows soon form a beautiful portrait. Close to his heart are the 72 Chickasaw elders who he has captured on canvas over the past decade. Two dozen of the latest portraits are currently on display at the Chickasaw Cultural Center in a special exhibit named "Listening to Our Elders." Mike Larsen's portraits of elders are also featured in a book series titled "Proud to Be Chickasaw" and "They Know Who They Are." A third volume will be released soon, featuring the latest portraits.
