Dreams are free but a quality education to achieve those dreams can cost a bundle. That's why the Chickasaw Nation wants to help its citizens reach their full potential with grants, scholarships and incentives. Programs are available for all age groups.
Ten-year-old Julia Pershica has Moebius syndrome, a disorder that results in facial paralysis and other neurological symptoms. Julia is an honors student and also loves to dance; her family credits the Nation's Special Needs Assistance Program as part of the reason she’s able to attend her dance classes, which truly enhances her life. The program reimburses up to $500 per year for families to spend on extracurricular activities for individuals with special needs. For more information about the program, visit Chickasaw.net.
