Camp Survivor 2011: Nutrition

The Chickasaw Nation

Vitamins, minerals and leafy greens aren't always appetizing for kids, but at Camp Survivor nutrition is a major part of the fun, friendship and competition. During the week, kids learn lessons about healthy foods, and they earn points for their teams for trying new healthy foods. Children age nine to thirteen are taught to eat a variety of foods in a variety of colors -some of the healthiest foods are green and red and orange. For more information, visit Chickasaw.net.
