Chickasaw Nation Citizen Benefits

The mission of the Chickasaw Nation is to enhance the overall quality of life for the Chickasaw people, and at the core of the mission for Tribal Health Services is a goal to expand services and access to quality health and wellness care. Tribal Health programs help citizens navigate the tribe's numerous health programs, to determine eligibility and receive assistance in finding proper health care providers and services. Tribal Health programs can further assist by offering citizens access to a $5,000 annual benefit for medically necessary healthcare costs after all other financial resources have been exhausted. Routine dental benefits and pediatric orthodontics are programs with expanded services and the Chickasaw Nation pharmacy just keeps getting bigger, both in how it serves and who it serves with expanded access to non-native spouses and employees.

One of the leading health concerns for tribal citizens today is diabetes, a condition that is of particular concern for Native Americans. Understanding how diet impacts a person's health and how lifestyle choices influence overall well-being can never be overstated, so nutrition is a focus across the full spectrum of services. The Chickasaw Nation is constantly adding and refining services and facilities each year with an understanding the needs can extend beyond the physical boundaries of the nation. The Office of Health Outreach assists citizens to solve healthcare gaps and is dedicated to reducing healthcare disparities by creating strategic programs for innovative, sustainable enhancements of the health and wellbeing of all Chickasaw citizens.
