Who doesn't want a healthy and happy family? Luckily, Chickasaw families have access to youth camps and clubs to inspire and encourage young people. Cultural workshops and directories connect families to their tribe. And a full range of crisis intervention programs help families when they need it the most.
The Chickasaw Nation’s Strong Family Development Office offers assistance and therapy for mental illness, drug or alcohol problems and other issues that can negatively affect families. Patients go through an assessment to determine how a therapist can best serve them. Patients also help develop their own treatment goals, and they work with therapists to feel empowered and in control of the process. For more information, visit Chickasaw.net.
