Every year the Chickasaw Nation holds a Dynamic Woman of the Year Conference and Forum. This year, the conference is held at the McSwain Theatre in Ada, Oklahoma. The event highlights women from a wide array of backgrounds and their impact on Chickasaw culture, creativity, and innovation. Dr. Traci Morris discusses the value and importance of technology and media in connecting to youth — creating a fun and interactive way to learn about tribal culture and history. 2012 Dynamic Woman of the Year, teacher Ellen Brooker, shares her Chickasaw culture with her students through clothing, food, and story telling.
