Chickasaw Nation News

In this episode of CNTV News, Brad Clonch and Quin Tran explore some of the summer camps offered by the Chickasaw Nation. Located in Ada, the Tennis Clinic features small groups and plenty of one-on-one instruction for children. Another great opportunity is the Golf Camp in Thackerville, which includes one session for children ages 8-11 and another for ages 12-18. All skill levels are accommodated, including those who have never played before. Two students who first met at the Chickasaw Nation Golf Camp, Alicia Baker and Anoli Billy, are on the Purcell High School team that won the class 3A state championship. And in 4A, Chloe Black of Newcastle earned her second individual golf state championship. Black, a Chickasaw student, learned to play from her dad and has gone on to win dozens of tournaments. She is planning to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and pursue a career as a pro golfer.
