Chickasaw Nation News

This episode of CNTV News begins with a poignant story of love's power over hate. Chickasaw citizen Jason Wells, owner of Sublime Signs in Norman, OK, has been creating custom signs since 1998. Many of Wells' signs have gained the public's notice, but a recent one, which bears the slogan HATE HAS NO HOME HERE in several languages, is drawing special attention. Wells is offering the signs for free to anyone who wants one, and he's excited about the positive energy he's helping to spread. And at the Chickasaw Nation Information Center in Tishomingo, a nature photography exhibition is currently on display. The photos were part of a competition in which local photographers were encouraged to explore nature and tell a story about the landscape. Just 30 miles north in Sulphur, the Chickasaw Cultural Center's fabulous Christmas lights display is lit up in full force. The Cultural Center annually hosts this free drive-through Celebration of Lights. For more information on holiday activities, visit Chickasaw.net.
