The Chickasaw Annual Meeting and Festival is just a few weeks away! "A Gathering of Our People" is set for September 29 through October 7, 2017, and Governor Anoatubby's State of the Nation Address will take place at 9 a.m. on the final day. Shelby has spent over 20 years working in public health and is currently the Youth Suicide Prevention Program Coordinator at the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Also, a new Oklahoma Optical location recently opened in Ada, and the Chickasaw Foundation awarded over 70 scholarships to both graduate and undergraduate students.
