On this CNTV News episode, Brad Clonch and Quin Tran talk about various exciting events. One is a traveling exhibit that makes a stop at the Chickasaw Cultural Center to teach children about healthy living. The Eagle Adventure Series illustrates education about Type II Diabetes. The exhibits will remain at the Chickasaw Cultural Center until December 27th. In downtown Oklahoma City, a century chest was unearthed that was buried 100 years ago. On April 22nd the chest was opened and the items rediscovered. These treasures, which include posters, pamphlets and photographs, are now in the hands of curators. The Chickasaw Constitution was there along with an important letter from one of the early leaders of the Chickasaw Nation, William Guy. The Oklahoma History Center has the century chest on exhibit to showcase Native American tribes throughout the month of December. The holidays are a special time to reflect on the importance of family. We gather together to celebrate such a wonderful time of year.
